Ding Junhui, one of the best snooker players in 2013

The 2 Time UK Champion, and former Masters Champion, Ding Junhui was very important for the expansion of snooker in China.
He had a fantastic year, winning 4 ranking titles, 3 in a row, and was considered the best in the world after his victory in the International Championship in November, but when he lost to Ronnie O`Sullivan at Ricoh Arena, for the Champion of Champions, he made us remember about his mental in snooker matches. He is a poor snooker player under pressure, and the European Tour 5 Final, against Allen is a example, where Ding lost to 4-1, but totally lost his mental and focus after some steallings by Mark.

                                                                   Lyu Haotian, 15 years-old

Lyu was another Chinese who had a great year, he is just 15 year-old, and reached to the Asian Tour 3 Final, after beat players like Graeme Dott and Xiao Guodong.
Lyu was one frame away to beat Ronnie O`Sullivan in the European Tour 3 and had breaks of 54, 57 and 61, but lost the last three frames in a row. Ronnie made a century in the decider.

Xiao Guodong, Cao Yupeng, Liang Wenbo, Yu Delu, Zhao Xintong, Ju Reti and 15 year-old Zhou Yuelong, who was the youngest and the first Chinese ever to win the IBSF World Championship also made a year to remember, and China deserve many congratulations.

Chinese's success in snooker is a good sign, not only China, but the whole Asia, snooker is reaching to billion of peoples, who love to watch and support their players.
UK still is the snooker's home, but I think China can level it in the future, maybe 5 or 10 years.
