Is Ronnie going to do it again?

The Most Important Event of the World
is underway, and Ronnie O`Sullivan
is favorite once again.

There's no word which can describe Ronnie O`Sullivan this season. The Champion of the world dominated the big snooker events so far, winning the Paul Hunter Classic, Champion Of Champions, The Masters and the Welsh Open.

His campaign at The Masters is considered as the best exhibition by a single player in a single event, which also includes a 6-0 victory over Ricky Walden  (Semi Finalist at the WSC and UK Championship 2013 & ET3 Champion), considered as an "utopia of snooker", "The best ever snooker session" & "The Snooker From the Gods".

Ronnie also won the Welsh Open much convincingly. He didn't played for one month after win the Master, then back for the Welsh Open, and was never in risk to lose, beating John Higgins for the first time in a Ranking Event since 2009. It was a very nice sign, because now I know there is no player who can win Ronnie even not playing better, but putting pressure on him.
To win the title, Ronnie easy beat Ding Junhui (The second favorite for the Crucible) in the final, 9-3, with a magical 147 in the last frame.

There's other players with such a good potential, like Neil Robertson and Shaun Murphy, but Ronnie is without a doubt the man to beat.

Talking about the draw, Ronnie don't have the hardiest opponents, but at the Crucible, every thing is hard, due to the pressure on.
For the Round One, our World Champion will face Robin Hull, who's improving as the season has coming to an end. Hull, 38, is the lowest seeded player, but he have such a big potential, reaching at the World Championship in 2002, but leaving snooker in 2008 due to health issues.
I expect Ronnie O`Sullivan destroying all his opponents until the final like he did in the last events. I think he just can be in trouble in the final, if he plays Ali Carter or John Higgins, because these two players every get better for the Crucible, have experience, and will not feel the pressure. But anyway I don't fancy one of them to go in to the final.

You can see my post with the draw and expects from the event here.

Like always this event will move up the World of Snooker, and I'm looking forward to it as every snooker fan.
The BBC will coverage the event from the Crucible, and you can always follow all results from the World of Snooker in our Facebook page.
