while Steve Davis drops out of the tour.

The most important event on the snooker calendar will start at the Crucible Saturday (19).
The Qualifier made big surprises, with former World Champions, Peter Ebdon, Mark Williams and Graeme Dott - like twice Runner-Up Matthew Stevens - did not qualify.
Seven Time World Champion, Steve Davis lost in his first round at the Qualifier, and will need to play on the QSchool if he wants to stay on the tour, while Jimmy White - Runner-Up in 6 occasions - also lost in his first match, but will stay on the tour at least one more year.

4 out of the 16 players of the tournament will make his debut at The Crucible this year, they are: Kyren Wilson -Qualified beating Graeme Dott -, Michael Wasley - Qualified beating Robert Milkins -, Xiao Guodong and Robbie Williams.
