World Snooker Championship 2014

Amazing Ronnie O`Sullivan's comeback
to beat Joe Perry for a Quarter-Final place

Ronnie O`Sullivan - reigning and five times World Champion - got a place at the Quarter Final for the 16th time, having reaching 22 World Championships in his career after a very close encounter with Joe Perry.

Ronnie O`Sullivan trailed 5-3 after the first session, and wasn't able to reduce the deficit as he was still 9-7 down after the second session. Ronnie was very poor in all aspects of his game, and just played more safe snooker in the second session as his game wasn't going on and he didn't want to be more than two frames behind for the third session.
But then, Ronnie shows why he is the best snooker player of the world, playing an sublime snooker, better on long pots, safety and not missing easy shots anymore as he beats Joe Perry 13(25)11.
Ronnie reduced the deficit to 8-9 with breaks of 42 and 45, but Perry responded immediately winning the next to turn it 10-8. Then Ronnie made a great 82, but Perry was capable to maintain the two frames lead with the help of a 48 break, going for the last interval of the match 11-9 up.
After that Ronnie O`Sullivan just started to play the snooker form the Gods, leveling the match with 48, 53 and 52 top breaks, and then making back-to-back century breaks (124 &113), to complete his amazing and tense victory over Perry, who was playing his best, and had nothing to do when Ronnie's game started to go on.

Ronnie said that it's good to still be at the tournament, as he consider this match as one of the most exciting and important he has ever played at the Crucible, while Perry feel disappointment at the same time he feels proud of his own game.

It's an alert for Ronnie because he wasn't playing close matches as his game was so good for everyone, but now he knows there's players who can be danger if he not play his A-Game and he needs to be up to win here, while he feels confident to win a tough match playing his nest in the third day of it, and the fans, like myself, can be relax and just wait for his next unlucky opponent, which will be decided from the match between Shaun Murphy and Marco Fu.
