How did you started to play snooker?
My dad and my brother played before than me then I started to play with them.

When and how did you discovered your talent?
Everyone told me I was very good at snooker but it wasn't till I left school about 2 years ago, then I realised I had a chance of one Day maybe making it.
And also Stephen Maguire and John Higgins told me that I’m very good.

Who’s your idol and why?
Used to be John Higgins but now is Stephen Maguire, because I practice with him and he helps me a lot.

Talent Giving Results

What are your best achievements and What’s your best break?
Winning Scottish Under 14, Under 16, Under 19 and Under 21, and European Under 18.
My Best practice break is 143, and I've made a 139 in match.

What is your best ever moment playing snooker?
Oh, that's a hard one. Could you say just one? I'm not sure haha.

When you target to get a tour card?
Hopefully this or next year.

What’s your next event?
Next for me is August, European .Tour in Latvia [Riga Open].
Feeling up?
Yes, can’t wait for it, I’ll be practicing hard over the next 2 months.

Practice Makes Perfection

What are your thoughts on your own game?
My safety is terrible, Just now something I need to work on. Mental and Break Building are OK but I still need to work on them, and Long Potting is probably the strongest point of my game.

Dylan play with a lot of stars in a club in Glasgow

Where do you practice?
I practice in a club in Glasgow City Centre with Alan McManus and Stephen Maguire.
How often?
5 or 6 days in a week, 4 hours per Day at least.

Have you got any sponsor?
No, I have tried but still didn't find one.
But do you have a manager?
No manage either.

World Snooker's Job

Do you think that there’s really a lot of opportunities for young players?
Yes and no... there’s a lot of opportunities but could be a lot more.
So, what could be done to have more opportunities?
I don’t know to be honest, but there could be a lot more. The tour could be opened up more than 128.

Do you think World Snooker makes a little advantage for Chinese players to became professionals?
Yeah! I did say so. Massive advantage!

What do you think about the 128 draw?
I think it’s good for lower down professionals or amateurs. Give everyone a chance.

What do you think about the snooker calendar? Too much snooker? Would be made any change? What changes?
I think it’s fine the way it is Right Now, I wouldn't change it.

How’s snooker going in Scotland?
It’s OK right now but there’s not a lot of Young players.

Do you think that China is going to dominate snooker or United Kingdom is still is the center of the game, with Best young's and a better amateur game?
I think China is going to dominate the game if I’m honest.

Is Barry Hearn doing a Nice job? What's he doing well and what's he is doing bad?
I think he is doing a Nice job, there is chance for lower players to make some Money, I think he isn't doing something bad.

I didn't expect Selby to win.
Really wanted Ronnie to win but I’m happy for Selby.

Well, you know the blog's name and I must ask it: What do you think about Ronnie O`Sullivan?
He is amazingly talented and great to watch but I don’t like him as a person.

Probably Robertson because his break-building, long-potting and safety is all really good.
