The Masters:

Ronnie O`Sullivan: Happy or Scared?

Confidence and Orange Tie is not all

Well, we know that Ronnie O`Sullivan - by the way, a 5 Times Masters Champion - isn't the one who cares about his opponents too much, But the first 2 days of the 1st Big Event of 2014 saw the World Champion coming back home alongside Judd Trump (Ronnie's opponent on his last 2 finals) and Stuart Bingham (September's Shanghai Masters Champion).
At first view, you could think that this is nice for the players who kept their feet in the tournament, but it isn't really.

  • Mark Selby lost to Shaun Murphy, which means the World Champion is out but a winner of 4 titles in 2014 and a maker of 3 Maximums in the same year (new record) will keep in the tournament.
  • Judd Trump lost to Stephen Maguire, which means that the Runner Up in the last 2 large events is out but a winner of the 6 Reds World Championship and the European Tour 5 (few weeks ago) and runner-up in both Masters and UK Championship 2014 will keep giving nightmares for his opponents.
  • Stuart Bingham did a considerable 2014, won the Shanghai Masters, his second ranking event win, and also won a couple of Asian Tour's as Marco Fu didn't live one of his best years, but was very consistent and made one of his best performances beating Bingham as he made a marvelous 147 break and another 2 centuries.

Well, it means that even great players are off the way, dangerous and hungry players are still fighting for the famous trophy.

Neil Robertson beat Robert Milkins 6(11)4 winning the last 3 frames in 35 minutes, with a ton included.

The defending Champion start his deference of the title tomorrow (Tuesday - 13) at 13:00 Local Time against Ricky Walden, the winner gets Marco Fu in the Quarter Finals.
