World Snooker Championship

Shock defeats for Robertson and O`Sullivan
makes Judd Trump a hot favorite to claim his first World Title

The Rocket fails flying

Ronnie O`Sullivan and Neil Robertson both had shock loses at the World Championship and now with the previous favorites all apart, Judd Trump is main man.

Ronnie O`Sullivan knocked in 3 Century Breaks (he made 7 in the tournament) but lost the last five frames in a row against Stuart Bingham, who's now for the first time in the Semi-Finals.
O`Sullivan played some quite good Snooker but could not get himself focused and motivated enough when it came down to the close frames and could've been far in front after two sessions but was only drawn at 8(25)8. He won first frame of the last session but Breaks of 74, 88, 51, 85 and 66 in less than one hour gave Bingham the five frames he needed to score the Biggest win of his career as he's now into the Crucible one table set-up for the first time.

Neil Robertson was knocking in centuries for fun but either was Hawkins, both players made 4 centuries on their way to a decider, but it was Hawkins who took it in the end with a 61 Break.
Hawkins has reached Final in 2013 and Semis last year, only denied winning by Ronnie O`Sullivan. His game seems to improve a lot at the Crucible, he's very confident and fluent there, so he's favorite against Murphy in my opinion.
Shaun Murphy just ended McGill's sweet Crucible dream as he knocked in a rock solid performance to score a 13(25)8 win.

But for the tournament, you got to consider that Judd Trump is up for the fight. The Bristol's completely outplayed Chinese star Ding Junhui scoring a demolishing 13(25)4 win which included 4 Centuries and 6 more +50 Breaks.

Semi Finals draw:
(picks in bold)

Shaun Murphy (33) Barry Hawkins
Judd Trump (33) Stuart Bingham
