"rosbrazil" rebrands into "down the rail"!

It's been already 8 years of dedication to writing snooker online since I lauched our Facebook page in Portuguese. A year later in 2013 the Blog in English was launched. Since then, I've had the pleasure to know great people through snooker. We had interviews with WPBSA chairman Jason Ferguson, World Championship quarter-finalist Kurt Maflin and had the opportunity to cover countless snooker events throughout this period as "Ronnie O´Sullivan Brazil". However, it's now time to move forward as we launch our new brand: Down the Rail!

There is no need to worry, the change is for the better and our content will stay basically the same (everything published will ramain online), with the difference that we'll post a lot more often - sometimes more than once a week focussing on English content.

Lately it's been difficult for me to manage time and keep my focus on the blog, but I'll now fully focus on here again and the brand rebuild is the first step forward of many we have planned.

I thank Ronnie O'Sullivan for having allowed us to use his name for these 8 years and also for the support he's given us, helping the blog on some occasions. I also thank everyone who's supported us in other ways, conceding interviews and sharing my content. It's been great to have this friendship with all of you, and I wish this will continue for long!

I'm excited about this rebrand and hope that Down the Rail can establish it's name on the snooker scenario. In the end of the day, I just wish to contribute to the sport I love.

Já são 8 anos de dedicação em escrever sobre Snooker na internet desde que comecei a página em português no Facebook. Um ano depois, em 2013, lançamos o Blog em Inglês. Desde então tive o prazer de conhecer excelentes pessoas através do snooker. Entrevistamos, entre outros, o presidente da WPBSA (Organização Mundial de Snooker e Bilhar Profissional) Jason Ferguson, e Kurt Maflin, que estava nas quartas de finais do Campeonato Mundial esse ano, além de cobrir inúmeros eventos da sinuca mundial. No entanto, é hora de dar um passo à frente no momento em que lançamos o "Down the Rail".

Não há por que se preocupar, nosso conteúdo se manterá basicamente o mesmo (tudo já publicado será mantido online), com a diferença de que postaremos com uma frequência maior - às vezes mais que uma vez na semana focando no conteúdo em inglês.

Ultimamente têm sido difícil administrar o tempo e manter o foco no Blog, mas a partir de agora focarei totalmente no Blog e a reformulação da marca é o primeiro passo à frente dentre vários planejados.

Eu agradeço ao Ronnie O´Sullivan por ter nos permitido usar seu nome durante estes 8 anos e também pelo apoio dado a nós, divulgando o blog em algumas ocasiões. Também agradeço a todos que nos apoiaram de outras formas, dando entrevistas e compartilhando meu conteúdo. Tem sido ótimo construir essa amizade com todos vocês, e eu espero que assim continue por muito tempo.

Estou animado com a nova marca, e espero que o Down the Rail possa fortalecer seu nome no cenário do snooker. Quero continuar contribuindo ao esporte que amo.
